New Year’s Resolution

All of us do make these resolutions. Some of us prefer sharing their New Year resolutions while some of us keep it secret.  But for some they ask, what is the purpose of having a New Year’s Resolution? Well, New Year resolution is nothing but a guide for us, it will show us the right path or it will tell us the right place and some say this is a letter to our future. For me, my New Year’s resolutions are all my aspirations and wishes that I have for myself. So here are my 10 resolutions for this year:

  1. Commit myself to get good or maybe better grades. I think of this way, grades are bridge. It will serve us to get into college.
  2. I will concentrate more on a few things and excel in them. I’m willing to stick with something and make the most of it.
  3. Know what the choices are when it comes in making decision. This way I can avoid regrets for the rest of my life.
  4. I want to try something new maybe sport or activity or maybe in cooking before leaving high school because I think this is a chance to start narrowing down my interests. They say that you’ll never know what you like or how good you are at something, until you try something.
  5. To study harder and to do better for a great future in my college life.
  6. To spend more time with my family or to manage my time with my family and friends.
  7. To have good health, free from disease or illness.
  8. To gain weight and to do work out.
  9. Banish the self-doubt. Doubting my abilities which only hold back from what I want to achieve. Just say no to these thoughts.
  10. To be more patient. If something bound to happen, it will happen in right time.

Those are my guidelines this year. I think I won’t be able to achieve it and accomplish all those resolutions but I will try my best. The most important thing is that I have given myself a chance and opportunity. It’s going to be a new year and a new start and I have to fill it with all positive energy as I can.
